They soon realize that they need an angle or a human interest story to make their article more interesting. Mr. Columbani refers them to his brother-in-law who is a renowned gastronome, but that doesn't work out. They soon find the perfect story when the village baker's wife leaves him and suddenly the quality of the bread falls off dramatically.
