She is eager to get the collaboration between Newman Enterprises and Forrester Creations started and is livid when Jack tells her that the deal is off. He reminds Brooke that Victor was not acting CEO when the deal was made. After talking with Sharon, Nick reaches Al who demands that they take care of matters tomorrow. Al threatens to pull the plug on the entire deal, so Nick decides to head home immediately. In the canyon, Victor finally gets a spark from the flint that lights the flare and he launches the arrow into the sky while Chet watches curiously from a distance. Much to Victor's dismay, the plane turns and heads back before the flare can be seen. Victor tries to bargain with Chet, offering funding from Newman Enterprises to further Chet's research for his freedom. Ramona is surprised that there is a search party for Victor. She ponders to call his family... Olivia pours her heart out to Neil. When she begins to cry, Neil comforts her and their closeness dissolves into passionate kisses! Malcolm decides it's time to move some of his things out of the apartment and Callie offers to help him. Before leaving Genoa City, Brooke pays Ashley a visit and drops the bomb that the Forrester deal was valued at 20 and not 200 million Dollar - in a line of credit, not a cash outlay.
