When Sam questions Anna he finds out that Connie knew there was a problem with the stair ...See moreAs their daughter Grace's health continues to deteriorate after suffering a cerebral edema Connie and Sam continue to argue over who's fault it is. When Sam questions Anna he finds out that Connie knew there was a problem with the stair gate and ignored the problem. After the locum paedaetrician operates successfully on Grace, albeit with continued interference from Connie, Sam tells Connie what he thinks of her as a mother. Connie retaliates that he is a bad father both to Grace and to his son who he abandoned when he was 17 years old. The confrontation causes Sam to collapse and he is rushed to intensive care. Meanwhile, Faye's former stepson Carl Hewson turns up at Holby looking for stolen cash that he believes Faye has. Faye spins a story that makes Joseph believe her but Jac is very suspicious.
