When the doctor opens up his anatomical wonders in the classroom, it causes vociferous merriment, when he begins to draw out female frippery instead of skulls and bones. In contrast Miss Simms is horrified into hysterics when she finds a bag of bones, mute revealers of some terrible tragedy.
