Victor surprises Nicole who was about to e-mail Colin. Colin is paged by Tony urgently, but calls he must first dispose of some papers, also concerning the late attorney Grant. Salem Inn staff-member Mallon lets Jen in Colin's room, against the rules for a Horton, supposedly to prepare him a party, but she actually searches it, and hides in the closet when Colin and Tony arrive, so she overhears them worrying about the late Grant's police-confiscated files and Colin insisting on his total loyalty to the DiMeras. Dr. Karen Bader phones Lexie that test results will be a few hours late; Sami turns down a few days away with Brandon 'to take care of Will' and makes the lab call the results to her to 'hand-deliver them'. Larry Welch, dressed as Santa Claus, tells Colin he's the one who was been calling him and giving orders; a gun is pulled, but lowered when he threatens his dead would cause an incriminating file from Grant's office on his and DiMera's doings to be sent to Bo, so Colin should obey his new master. Brandon implores Nicky to cancel the loveless marriage that will only sell her to Victor, but his promise to destroy Sami still is irresistible. Tony and Lexie tell each-other not to worry too much.
