Patrick is reluctant to help, but swayed when the others persuade him to give his art advice in exchange for a look at the results of James' corrective surgery - designed to solve his problems in the bedroom. Terry meanwhile encounters generation gap issues with his young girlfriend, Sonja. He performs an intricate series of morning ablutions - shaving, flossing, and slapping on after-shave - before returning to bed and pretending to wake up with his 25-year-old girlfriend, Sonja. As Terry and Sonja struggle to come up with post-coital conversation, Patrick and James wander around an art gallery. Patrick is knowledgeable and passionate about art, frustrating James who only wants Patrick to tell him which artwork would make the best investment. Gary, meanwhile, struggles to communicate with his monosyllabic teenage son, Wayne. Terry has brunch with Sonja but is totally thrown when, instead of his suggestion of eggs Benedict and bucks fizz, she asks for a burger and coke. At their regular steam at the Turkish baths, James nearly weeps with frustration when Patrick refuses to tell him what art will make him money, until he sees the opportunity to strike a deal. The others are desperate to see the effects of James' operation and Patrick agrees to tell him which artist to buy if he drops the towel. They all nod politely in front of the naked James, but privately, Terry and Gary are shocked at the scars and at the obvious fact that James has had an extension. At a loose end for the weekend, Terry tracks down his son, Justin, and asks him over for some quality time together. To his delight, Justin agrees but not before asking Terry for money. Terry prepares a lavish spread but eventually falls asleep waiting for Justin to arrive, while Gary and Wayne share a companionable moment watching 'The Simpsons.' See less
