In the middle of it all, a Yankee player named Thurman Munson read an article supposedly about Reggie Jackson stating that he was "The straw that stirs the Drink". Upset and confused, Jackson is trying to set things straight about it. Meanwhile, in the city of New York itself was facing a crisis of it's own. A serial killer using a .45 caliber gun is shooting and killing people while the police try to find out about the killer, Billy Martin and Steinbrenner are arguing over Jackson's position in the batting order.
