In Capetown, Peter Jahn and his separated ex Claudia Jahn come aboard to Botwana, unaware they each brought the one of their unwitting twin daughters each raises, Friderike and Lara, who soon work out being separated twins and are determined to reunite their parents, who soon see through but come to play along. Captain Paulsen and Beatrice look after the two winners of the shipping company's competition, shy Lothar Meyer who owns a cleaning company and his employee Ramona Wiese, who wasn't supposed to know but nevertheless they mutually grow crushes.
