A man of mystery and money, Lila and Jessica are at it again going for the same guy. When Elizabeth doesn't show up to Nicholas' big party, Todd gets concerned. Jessica is far too caught up in Nicholas to worry about Elizabeth. Todd convinces Jess that they should call the police who find a suspect in Winston Egbert. Meanwhile, Peter Carpenter (the orderly Liz befriended at the hospital) has taken Elizabeth to an old cabin where he professes his love to her. Back at the Wakefields, the gang decides to cover Sweet Valley with "missing" fliers. The next day at the hospital Peter see's Jessica and thinks it's Liz.
