However, later that evening, Amanda's parents let her know that her dad will be moving out of the house. Amanda become angry at her mother for not trying harder to work things out with her father. Amanda attempts to talk to Busy about her situation by going to Busy's house. Not wanting to encroach on Busy's family time Amanda heads to the mall where she hides out while its closing. The night guard at the mall discovers Amanda and agrees not to call the police or Amanda's parents if she leaves with Busy and her mother.
