But Michael has other plans when he proposes marriage to Jane. Also, Lexi considers using her new company for an advertising agency. Meanwhile, Amanda receives Matt Fielding's journal after learning of his untimely death in a car accident. It contains secrets, including information about a rift between Kyle and his long-estranged brother, Ryan, as well as unflattering incidents regarding Michael about his days as a male stripper in Chicago, Peter and his involvement of illegal heart surgery for the shady Mr. Beck during his prison term for Amanda's attempted murder (in season 3, and of Jane's fling with a college friend, named Alex Basitan, the night before her wedding to Michael eight years ago.
