At Jake's urging, Jane sees a prosecutor regarding Richard's assault on her, but she backs out and plans something else, involving a gun. Dr. O'Malley's sexist comment about how difficult single mothers are angers Jo, and Matt accidentally gets pricked with a tainted needle while giving a rebellious homeless boy an injection.
