Jane has an attack of conscience that temporarily calls off the wedding, but an intervention from Amanda and Peter saves the day. At the reception, Michael succumbs to a combination of his jealousy, too much champagne, and Alex's sudden and uninvited arrival and announces to all about Jane's infidelity after Alex tells Michael the truth about Chicago. Jane is also angered by Alex when she soon discovers Alex's true agenda for their business trip to Chicago. Megan, intoxicated after walking into Ryan and Lexi together, seeks companionship with Michael, which ends when they both fall though the roof of the Melrose apartment complex, right into Amanda's bed.
