Distracted by his constant commentary on man's innate need to kill, Terry misses wildly, humiliating himself in front of his macho instructor. James, meanwhile, is suffering a different form of murderous intent, as his expensive oven is being slowly torn apart by a mouse. He sets a trap - and a webcam - for the squatting rodent. The friends all set off for a weekend of male bonding in the country, planning to 'kill things' - despite the fact that the only previous experience any of them have is the time James ran over a pheasant and then rushed it to a vet. Gary is thrilled at the chance to be on an equal footing with his friends at last, on a 'woman-free' weekend, but his heart sinks as they are greeted by the delectable Marilyn and Kerry, their hosts for the weekend. Patrick immediately turns on the charm with Marilyn, while James and Kerry bond over his mouse problem. After dinner, the old friends end up arguing about their chat-up lines, prompting an outburst from Gary, who is fed up with their adolescent exploits. He storms and rings his wife Cheryl, admitting that he misses her but having trouble convincing her that he's not drunk. Terry catches up with Gary in the grounds, where they share a moment of envy for each other's lives. Gary points out to Terry that Marilyn and Kerry must be a couple as there is only one room for them, and they gleefully decide not to share the information with Patrick and James, who are still desperately trying to impress the girls. Meanwhile, Kerry has horrified James by telling him that his mouse is pregnant. Glum from their rejections, Patrick and James hole up in James' room watching the 'mousecam,' and Terry and Gary soon join them. They all jump at Patrick's plan of racing back to London for a big night out, with the one proviso that James can stop off at his flat to remove the trap. See less
