Carlos wants to give her a piece of his mind. Sister Bertrille, on the advice of the Reverend Mother, thinks it wise not to ask Carlos for any more favors especially of his time, the latest being what the sisters call "San Tanco Dads" (STD), a group of prominent San Tanco men acting as surrogate dads for the orphan kids in community events. They even ask Roberto, Carlos' assistant, to be a STD. As much as Carlos wants to tell off Sister Bertrille, he never finds the right time. And Sister Bertrille really wants Carlos to be a STD, but bites her tongue every time she has the urge. Carlos finds out about the STD through Roberto, and deep down is hurt that he wasn't asked. What's more, he wants to be a STD since Sister Bertrille's beautiful cousin, Regina Atwater, is visiting from Boston and is hanging out at the STD events. Regina is just Carlos's type, and visa versa. But first and foremost, he feels that the sisters no longer like or respect him. So he becomes the model citizen of San Tanco, doing things that are uncharacteristic for him. He and Regina start dating - or realistically, Regina and a new stuffy tweed-wearing man calling himself Carlos start dating. Regina and the sisters are all wondering what happened to the old Carlos they knew and loved. After Regina rejects him, Carlos sees the errors in his stuffy ways. Written by Huggo See less
