Believing it's not an accident but a murder attempt linked to her activities in her job, Elizabeth Brochène gets the case. Prime suspect is a stuntman who runs a family business around stunt shows. He's suspected of accidentally killing his associate during a fight. Elizabeth believes the kill was deliberate. Marie Balaguère restarts the investigation while having doubts about the prosecutor's version. She starts to believe the man protects someone by taking the blame on him.
