He is on the run from Becker, hired by the owners of the stones. Danzer steals a plane but is forced to crash land after a gunshot from Becker has pierced the fuel tank of the airplane Danzer has stolen. Danzer, desperate, kidnaps a blind woman as he attempts to flee the United States. Erskine and Daniels lead the FBI's investigation, seeking to apprehend Danzer before he can get into Mexico.
