The security guard was jostled by the burglar as he fled with the loot. The guard thought he recognized a young worker who had been dismissed from the factory a few weeks earlier. The young man was arrested and brought to the scene: only an employee or former employee of the factory could have known where the watches were, and only a sportsman could have done it.
