By working with Tou Tou, a clumsy Parisian second-story man, Robin learns that Agoura is not dead, but is a vague but notorious smuggler who uses the emeralds as collateral for his deals. Agoura learns of Scott's interest and attempts to have him killed by using his young protegee, Mirelle, and her ex-lover, Tanguy, to do his dirty work. Robin feigns death, and he and Tou Tou pull a dupe that almost gets Robin killed. See less
