Meanwhile, Kersey is asked by Donovan and Captain Jonas to go undercover as a rich widow trying to buy drugs from a local dealer... a supposedly easy job that goes badly wrong when the guy tries to rip her off and Kersey ends up killing him. When Lowery learns that Nona has no plans for her birthday, he plans to get the day off to spend it with her.
