Mr. Roulas believes a swindler named Duke Powell killed his son, stole some jewelry, and fled to San Marco where he bought a gambling nightclub. Mr. Roulas' daughter, Amanda, followed Duke to San Marco to get revenge for killing her brother, and takes a job incognito singing in Duke's nightclub until she can get her revenge.
