In attempting to get away with his baggage he drops his trunk on a policeman's head and bumps into the landlady on his exit. He raises the price of a hotel room by exercising his wits in a barroom. He engages a room in a fashionable hostelry. He starts for the bathroom, attired in pajamas, and invades a room occupied by a newly married couple. He rushes to cover in a bathroom where he meets an old man who falls in a faint. He administers illuminating gas while he gets into his clothes.
