The lawbreakers compel Jerry to accompany them on their depredations, and he is about to be implicated in the robbery of a vault in a rich man's house when he, through the use of some muscle and a quick wit, succeeds in locking one of the robbers in the vault and assisting in the arrest of the other. He is then overwhelmed by the gratitude of the wealthy man's family, which includes a pretty daughter, and is also made the recipient of a handsome reward in cash.
