She lives with her father Walter, whom she has cared for since her mother's death. Although her boyfriend Marco urges her to finally move in with him, Clarissa does not have the heart to let her father "down", at least not so shortly before his 70th birthday. A special, rare guest arrives on Walter's day of honor: Ina, Clarissa's younger sister. Ina, beautiful and internationally successful as a model, turned her back on her homeland years ago and lives in Paris. There was only loose contact with Clarissa and Walter. So Walter's joy is all the greater at finally being able to embrace his favorite daughter again. Clarissa's joy of reunion is not quite so untroubled; old conflicts between the two sisters soon break out again. Regardless of her beauty and charm, Ina always felt inferior to Clarissa with her diverse talents, Clarissa, for her part, always had to contend with Walter's predilection for Ina. And now, too, old patterns of behavior come alive again: While Ina is pampered by Walter, Clarissa takes care of her work, the household and Walter's birthday party. There is no time for Marco, who already suffers from the fact that Clarissa does not really acknowledge him. Ironically, at Walter's birthday party, there is a scandal between Clarissa and Marco. In this situation he meets Ina. Behind the radiant facade of the top model, he recognizes the deeply insecure, lonely young woman. The two get closer and spend a night together - just when Clarissa decided to move in with Marco. It doesn't take long before she discovers the scam. Will Clarissa be able to forgive Ina and Marco?
