On the boat, they discover that Bobby has also booked passage after guessing father's plans. Of course. Frances is tickled to death, but father doesn't know what to do. Bobby follows them from France to Italy. This annoys father and as soon as he thinks Bobby is far enough away, he hustles Frances into a cab and starts off, but not before Bobby discovers his intentions. Bobby immediately hires a mule and takes up the pursuit. The mule pays no attention to Bobby's attempts to drive it and soon dumps him unceremoniously into a bandit camp. The authorities are already searching for the bandit chief and have offered a large reward for his capture. Bobby is the answer of the problem for the bandits. They plan to surrender him and claim the reward. So they dress him up in the chief's outfit and treat him royally. Bobby is quite elated and he really thinks he is their chief until he hears them talking about their scheme. He makes his escape and comes across the balance of the gang who have just captured Frances and her father. The three of them are surrounded and have just about given up hope when the authorities arrive and congratulate Bobby on his good work and present him with the reward. Bobby doesn't try to figure it out but is happy with the thought that now Frances is his with her father's consent gratefully given. Written by Press Sheet from Library of Congress See less
