The drunken guests dance exuberantly through the restaurant with the ladies employed. The next morning, a large color photo of the party graced the front page of the tabloid "Sonne". The reason: At the center of the boozy event is supposedly the successful lawyer Rebekka Butt, who is currently running for the position of Berlin's Senator for Justice. Of course, the aloof career woman is taken aback when she is presented with the "scandal photo". For them there is no question that the picture is a photomontage behind which there is a scheming political opponent. Far from it: The tipsy lady from Page One is Tatjana Laake, a single mother who keeps herself and her bright son Lucas afloat with various jobs - and looks a lot like Rebekka. Tatjana, on the other hand, is extremely amazed when she sees her likeness smiling down from huge election posters. At an upscale cultural event, she is promptly mistaken for Rebekka Butt and treated as a VIP. The cunning entrepreneur Baron von Aschleben also believes that Tatjana is the future Senator for Justice - and tries to charm the young woman using every trick in the book. The likeable Sonne journalist Bert Schubert, on the other hand, sees through Tatjana's little imposture. But instead of letting her be exposed, he starts a series of photo reports that show the alleged politician in extremely compromising situations. However, Tatjana's clever mix-up game has unpleasant consequences: Baron von Aschleben, who gave her an expensive ring, wants to take her to court for fraud with Rebekka's help. Tatjana is forced to seek help from Rebekka's law firm partner Rainer Krappe. With the active support of Bert Schubert, Krappe begins to research Tatjana.
