Kitty Perkins is married to village dude Beau Crummel by the Justice of the Peace. As they are coming out of his office, they see her father approaching; surmising that he will punish them, they run away and finally seek shelter in a hotel...See moreKitty Perkins is married to village dude Beau Crummel by the Justice of the Peace. As they are coming out of his office, they see her father approaching; surmising that he will punish them, they run away and finally seek shelter in a hotel, where they register under an assumed name to throw the old man off the scent. Kitty goes shopping, and upon returning, she has forgotten the room number and fake name. To locate the room, she tries first one, then the other. The disturbed guests resent the intrusion until Beau arrives and relieves the situation. The climax is reached when Kitty's father appears. They slam the door in his face and climb down the fire escape, only to be arrested for sneak-thieves at the bottom of the ladder and taken into the hotel office. There they nearly collapse when they are confronted by Kitty's father. To their surprise he is not displeased; he gives them his blessing. Beau and Kitty look very foolish and are thoroughly disgusted with themselves for all their manufactured trouble. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
