Dooley indulges in the former, and thereby gains the latter. He saunters into a saloon in time for a raffle and is the lucky one to win a turkey. His good fortune loosens his purse strings and he generously imbibes, helped along by all who were less fortunate. When he finally starts fur home, the turkey dragging along behind him, his companions follow after. Little by little, articles attach themselves to the turkey, until by the time he reaches his home he has in his train boxes, tin cans, dogs and various other things. His wife resents his home-coming and severely punishes him, to the amusement of his followers. Written by
