This leads to a close friendship between the two, which is looked on with decided disfavor by Kirk Stanley, a friend of Mr. Fuller and a suitor for Margaret's hand. Later labor troubles develop in the foundry and a strike is imminent. In the meantime Stanley has been taken into the firm and it is really his highhanded methods in dealing with the men that has caused dissatisfaction. Later Stanley attempts to take from Margaret a bracelet given to her by the men in the works, as a token of their esteem. The foreman sees this in time to prevent it, but it leads to a complete revolution in the foundry. Mr. Fuller coming upon the scene just in time to witness the end of the altercation, and dissolving partnership immediately with Stanley, leaving Margaret clasped in the foreman's arms.
