He is working his way through college by working in the kitchen and waiting on the table. On the night of the dance the guest of honor is Grace, a pretty little professional dancer who lives near the college. All the fellows fight with each other to dance with her. But meanwhile the dean of the school has framed it up so that Grace pretends to know Arthur as an old friend.
