However, he decides to learn, and his teacher advises him to practice at home. So he dances with Carrie, the maid, the cook, and with himself in the cellar. One day his wife catches him dancing with the maid, and reprimands him for his familiarity. He is invited to attend a masquerade ball which he gladly accepts. He asks his wife to go, but she refuses. Even though he is disappointed, he takes his wife to the costumer's and hires a Romeo suit. His wife also decides to attend the hall, and dresses as Juliet. At the ball Romeo is much attracted to Juliet and Juliet to Romeo. They dance all evening together, and great is their surprise, when they remove their masks.
