A Negro chicken thief seeks refuge in the house when chased by the cops. Running afoul of a crook scientist, the roost robber is given many scares by a skeleton and skull stolen by the other thief. The Negro gives Alice plenty of subjects to photograph by getting mixed up in a sheet, wrestling with a skeleton, and releasing one of his purloined chickens, which gets its head caught in a skull.
