He celebrates by taking a drink of home brew; but seeing a line of moth balls rolling on the floor and mistaking them for a snake, swears off and throws away his flask. Ethel and Bert go for a walk. A blind man mistakes her fur coat for his dog; and, attaching his leash to it, is led along the boardwalk for several blocks. Ethel sees the leash and attaches it to a cop's coat. The cop leads the blind man to jail and Ethel and Bert walk on to a frankfurter stand, where the coat is recognized by the "hot dogs." Ethel is met by the collector who has come to take her coat.
