Fun loving, flamboyant Lena, is a woman who runs a small hair shop out of her house but is always behind on her bills. Mercedes, her level-headed childhood friend, is her co-partner in the business. When Lena suddenly gets an eviction notice for the shop, the women decide to join a pyramid scheme that is spreading like wildfire around town. Within a few days, Lena and Merce actually get to the top of their chart and the money pours in. The pyramid seems to be the answer to their woes. But that's when the tailspin begins.
