On the first night Sharon gives a wild party;...See moreKatrina leaves her home in Denmark after an unhappy love affair and comes to New York where she meets Sharon, a Greenwich Village coffee house waitress, who offers the shelter of her apartment. On the first night Sharon gives a wild party; Katrina goes to the roof to be alone and there she meets a rapist. Meditating revenge on men, she agrees to meet Sharon's boyfriend, Robert, but her willpower fails and they make love. Sharon tries to lead her friend into a lesbian affair; uninterested, Katrina spends her days wandering alone. Convinced by Sharon that she is taking men too seriously, Katrina has a series of superficial sexual encounters and finds no satisfaction. Reminded of happier days in Denmark by the visit of a couple in love, she performs a drunken striptease. The next morning, a boyfriend of Sharon's makes love to both women and Katrina at last submits to Sharon's lesbian embrace. Suddenly disgusted by the life she has been leading, she packs her bags to wander again through the streets of New York. See less
