One night he left his home, went to the club and proceeded to get "filled." Late that evening or in the wee small hours of the morning, he took a machine to go home, but failed to get inside and fell into the slushy street. A cabby nearby volunteered to take him home, but Robert was determined to drive the horse himself, and he did. He blocked the traffic and had a terrible time. When he arrived home he found a note to the effect that his wife had deserted him, but his child was there, so he knew she was not far off. He promised her, however, that he would never drink again and, when you witness this picture you will agree that he never will. Written by Moving Picture World synopsis See less
