She lives with her little girl, Isabelle, 8 years old, her only wealth, for whom she desires another life than her own. Lynne knows of life only the shadows of poverty or, at best, the shadows of a few impossible dreams. Out of love for Isabelle, Lynne will undertake the conquest of her dignity. Separated from Isabelle's father, she meets in turn two men, Conrad and Frisette who, each in their own way, try to help her. But the real solution lies in the autonomy that she tries to acquire in spite of the weight of her modest origins and the challenge of survival. See less
