Although the servants declare the house to be haunted, Lucky is determined to remain and invites several friends, including Ted Powell, who is acquainted with the former owners of the estate. When Lucky finds that Adele Stratford (Countess Vecchi) is still living in the house owing to her husband's illness, he offers her a place as permanent guest. When his position on the market becomes endangered by rival investors, Adele urges Lucky to return and fight them, and he does so. Following the death of the count, Lucky and Adele are happily united. Written by AFI See less
