    Producer/Director

    Chris Taylor received a BA Cum Laude from Harvard University in 1977. From
    1975 through 1986, Chris toured as a lighting designer for the Beach Boys,
    Bob Dylan, Earth, Wind & Fire, John Fogarty, Michael McDonald, and Simon
    and Garfunkel, among others.

    In 1988-89, Chris attended the Cinematography Program at the American Film
    Institute Conservatory for Advanced Film and Television Studies.

    Filmography as Director:

    Fat Envelope (pre-production)
    A feature length documentary following the process of 5 high school juniors
    and seniors as they apply for college. Partial financing in place.
    Holy Land (pre-production)
    A 3-part mini-series on the life of Jesus, the rise of Christianity, and
    the historical and theological controversies of the New Testament, starring
    Craig T Nelson.
    FOOD FIGHT (2008-2009)
    A feature length and award-winning documentary about American food culture
    in the 20th century and the rise of the local, organic, sustainable food
    movement. The film won 8 “Best of” Awards and is in distribution through
    Brainstorm Media.
    From Variety: “Pic is well-intentioned and informative, with an abundance
    of personality.”
    The District (2000-2004)
    TV-CBS one-hour primetime drama starring Craig T. Nelson. 8 episodes
    Beyond Belief (1998-2000)
    TV-Fox Network one-hour primetime drama. Each episode consisted of 4 12-
    minute stories. Directed 26 stories.
    During 2005-2012 I also directed a number of short films and
    commercials.
