UPLOADED RESUME
  • * Susie Singer Carter
    Writer/Producer/Director
    WGA/SAG
    2015

After graduating UCLA, Susie began her television career writing and
producing two series, CAKE and DANCE REVOLUTION (yes, at the same
time!), for CBS's Saturday morning block. CAKE was nominated for a
prestigious Environmental Media Award in the category of Children's
    Live Action Television.

Immediately following, she moved into the world of features writing and
producing BRATZ: THE MOVIE for Lionsgate and Avi Arad Productions.

Following BRATZ, Susie began creating and producing a variety of
television projects that included two blind-script deals with Fox
Television Studios - SILVER LININGS, a half-hour series centering on
the staff at an assisted living facility and THE B-SIDE” a one-hour
inspired by recollections of her father who helped launch A&M Records,
the most successful record label in the world.

Jumping back into features, Susie served as co-producer and contributed
the (uncredited) polish and final drafts for the feature, SOUL SURFER
for Sony, Mandalay and Brookwell McNamara. Soul Surfer was nominated
for two 2011 Teen Choice Awards (Best Dramatic Film and Best Actress)
as well as a prestigious EPSY Award for best film.

Under the umbrella of Go Girl Media, Susie and her partner, Don Priess,
have teamed up with Rollman Entertainment and GRB Entertainment to
produce their projects TRASHIONISTA” and YANKSTERS for a variety of
    international broadcasters.

Currently, Go Girl Media is in active development on an eclectic (and
    commercial!) slate of projects.

LOVE LUCIFER” - a ROM-MON-COM (Romantic Monster Comedy) that
centers on as two B-Movie Scream Queens who battle movie monsters
by day and now real monsters at night. I LOVE LUCIFER boasts
contributions from Max Brooks (SNL, WORLD WAR Z, and THE
    ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE).

VESTAL VIRGINSâ - a mini-series that spotlights what may be the
most fascinating story of ancient times that has never been told.
The story of strong and complex females who contributed to the
rise of Christianity, democracy and the march out of the pink
    ghetto.

Susie is a member of the WOWGA (Women of WGA) and a honorary member of
    AWD (Alliance of Women Directors).
