This brilliant composition was derived from Clement's original musical
score for the animated feature film QUANTUM QUEST (starring Chris Pine,
Samuel L. Jackson, Hayden Christensen, James Earl Jones, William Shatner
and Mark Hamill). The score was recorded by famed engineer Leslie Ann
Jones at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch, and performed by the legendary San
Francisco Philharmonic. Clement's work for QUANTUM QUEST was nominated for
Best Score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and won a Global Music
Award. The film's soundtrack was released in 2011.
Currently, Clement is working with actors Joe Mantegna and Malcolm McDowell
on the score for the upcoming and highly anticipated documentary about the
iconic and prolific science fiction author Ray Bradbury, entitled LIVE
FOREVER: A RAY BRADBURY ODYSSEY. Clement was personally requested to write
the score by Bradbury after having already scored the short film THE
PEDESTRIAN, an adaptation of one of Bradbury's short stories.
Now based on the lot at Paramount Pictures, Clement has started a new
production company, Collective Entertainment, which is currently developing
film and television projects. His documentary television series, Masters
of Sound, is garnering extensive recognition. Now in the second stage of
development, Masters of Sound, hosted by the renown radio DJ Jim Ladd,
tells the behind the scenes stories of some of the greatest rock and pop
recordings of our time. For this series, Clement reached out to his
industry friends and legendary music producers, such as Jack Douglass, Ken
Scott, Elliot Scheiner and Eddie Kramer, among others.
With exclusive interviews and previously unseen archival footage, Masters
of Sound takes us into the mixing studio to see and hear what it was like
to be at the console during some of the most influential recording sessions
of the 20th century. As the show's executive producer and composer,
Clement is providing the score for this unprecedented series that is
attracting television networks from around the globe.
Clement grew up in Massachusetts, studied at Berklee College of Music, and
then moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of composing for film and
television -- writing music to picture. A talented musician, Clement has
performed with famous artists, including B.B. King, Chet Atkins, Eddie Van
Halen, Don Johnson and Harry Dean Stanton. His mastery with studio gear
and innovative style has earned him dozens of industry endorsements, and
Clement is often featured in national trade magazines. Clement's vast
knowledge of music expands into musician's creative rights, and he often
lectures on these topics.
Among his many notable credits, Clement created the musical foundation for
the voyeuristic world of reality TV before the phenomena saturated the air
waves, and was emulated by other composers entering the genre. Starting
with some of reality TV's original series, such as WORLD'S WILDEST POLICE
VIDEOS, to AMERICAN IDOL and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, Clement will
continue to set the tone for years to come. In recognition of his
definitive style and accomplishments, ASCAP presented Clement with a Film
and Television Music Award for Most Performed Underscore.
One of Clement's most notable TV series, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, came in
the midst of his reality TV period. The acclaimed cult series proved that
his talents extend beyond the genre of reality TV. Clement composed
several music pieces that became cult favorites with fans of the show.
Clement segued into film with WE MARRIED MARGO (winner of the Audience
Favorite Award at the HBO/U.S. Comedy & Arts Festival) and starring Kevin
Bacon, and LAST CHANCE (winner of Best Original Drama at World Fest).
Clement translated his musical palette into the world of video games, again
ahead of the curve. His music has set the gaming tone for hit titles
including Sony's OPEN SEASON, Electronic Arts' THE SIMS 2 as well as
BATMAN: VENGEANCE and BATMAN: RISE OF SINZU for Warner Bros., both of which
were nominated for Best Score Awards.
His other recent projects include several indie features, including
Lionsgate's Virus X, PLAY ON and FINALE. Clement's score for FINALE was
nominated for Best Score at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
Additionally he is scoring season five of World's Wildest Police Videos
season six of Top 20 Most Shocking, and the new series from FOX, Whipped!

film, SINBAD: THE FIFTH VOYAGE, as well as the comedy-western JOHNSON &
JOHNSON on which he is also an Executive Producer.
